When you vacation at Steps Away, just worry about getting to the Lodge at Spruce Peak and our team will take care of the rest! The pampering starts as soon as you pull up to the five-star lodge, with everything you need just “Steps Away”. The friendly bellmen greet you at your car, taking your equipment to the ski valet and your luggage to the condo.
Valet parking is available for $45/night, or you can self-park your first car for free.
Each morning you’re greeted with gorgeous views of Mount Mansfield and glimpses of Smugglers Notch. After you fuel up with breakfast in our fully-equipped gourmet kitchen, head down to the ski valet where you’re just steps from the Over Easy gondola and Spruce Peak chairlifts. Don’t feel like cooking? Call room service or visit one of the many on-site dining venues.
Steps Away offers plenty of room for everyone to get a good night's sleep with three bedrooms and three bathrooms. The first bedroom has a king bed and full bath with a separate tub and shower, the second bedroom offers a king bed with bath and shower, while the third bedroom features two queens and a full bath with a separate tub and shower.
If the kids (or you!) need a little break from the hustle and bustle of the base lodge, sneak back to our nearby condo for some rest before getting back on the mountain for more skiing and snowboarding. The Stowe area also offers other snow-related activities like ice skating, snowshoeing, sleigh rides, dog sledding, and snowmobiling.
Thaw out and have fun in the heated outdoor pool and hot tub when you're not on the slopes. Non-skiers have plenty to do too. They can take in the high-end retail stores, get pampered at the world-class spa, or visit the fitness center for a yoga class. Just down Mountain Road, there are even more terrific shopping and luncheon venues.
When it's time to come in for the day, snuggle up in front of the fireplace and our huge 72” television in the living room to host your own movie night. Rather go out for the night? Leave the little ones in good hands with "kids night out" where they'll have their own fun while you head out to the Pub or have a romantic dinner at the on-premise Tipsy Trout or Alpine Hall restaurants.
The fun at Steps Away doesn’t stop when the snow melts. The summer months are a wonderful time to enjoy sailing on nearby Lake Champlain or remaining on the resort, where you'll find farm-to-table dinners, golf, hiking, zip-lining, a treetop obstacle course, and a rock-climbing wall. There's even a farmers' market on-site every Friday!
Throughout the year, enjoy local bands and interesting musicians at the outdoor Whistle Pig Pavilion or see popular entertainers at the Spruce Peak Arts Center. Both venues are a 5-minute walk from our unit. Other Stowe-area activities include terrific Mountain Road restaurants, cycling, movies, mini-golf, bowling, and fly fishing.

Summary: My wife and I wanted to celebrate our anniversary with a little more style this year, so we booked a weekend at Steps Away. It was so worth it! The unit had been newly renovated and the zen-like sophistication of the decor was beautiful. The bed was extremely comfortable and everything was clean and sparkling. Luckily the snow was great for skiing, but there's so much more to do that we'll have to go back soon!

Summary: This is a great property, and we would stay again. The Lodge is a great location for family trips. The three adjoining rooms, each with their own door and bathroom worked great for us so the teen girls, teen boys and Parents could enjoy some quite time when needed but gather in the central kitchen, dining, and family room. The owner was communicative and helpful. Only negatives I can say was that at this price-point you would not expect to pay for daily parking and the hallways can get loud… just the cost of being at the Lodge. Great property, highly recommend.

Summary: Family and friends quick ski trip was a blast. Room for everyone and fully equipped with everything you might need. Last day was a ski bust, but still enjoyed our time with the pool and game room/arcade. Service in the restaurants was ok, the food was good and everyone was very nice. The host was great to communicate with. Definitely recommend and will re-book if we come back to ski Stowe.

Summary: This is a beautiful modern unit inside the Lodge at Spruce Peak. There are three connecting bedrooms with a living room and kitchen. Plenty of amenities such as kitchen utensils, extra towels, blankets and pillows. The host has promptly responded to all of our requests including pre-ordering groceries. We've stayed here several times before and plan to return again.

Summary: The Lodge at Spruce Peak is a great location for skiing, dinner/drinks, skating and relaxing without ever having to get back in the car. The accommodations were nice, clean, and accurate to the listing and photos.
